The Ridge has a distinctive split personality: the early lap builds through corner 3 into the quick, lap-defining sweep of corner 4, then compresses into the long loaded turns at corners 5 and 6 before opening back out through corners 7 and 8. The late sequence from corner 9 to corner 13 is much more fiddly and stop-start, but the real sting is corner 14, where a clean run shapes the whole finish of the lap.
