The real lap-time swing comes from the change in character after that: corner 5 links the early complex together, while corners 7, 9, 11 and 12 form a technical backbone where commitment and rhythm over a full lap really tell, especially as corner 9 is one of the quicker, more rewarding bends on the layout. Compared with the other SMP configurations, this version trades long, flowing blasts for a more intricate sequence of medium- to low-speed turns, creating big speed swings between the tightest points like corner 7 and the faster sweep at corner 9, so the lap feels like a constant transition between stop–start technical work and short bursts of momentum.
